John Potts continues to travel the world mostly via cruise ships and take many unique beautiful photos in distant locales most people have never been. John is a retired U.S. Coast Guard Lieutenant Commander and served in many positions, including that of ship's Captain. Since retirement, he has held some interesting mini-careers which he enjoyed very much, including merchant marine water safety instructor, art gallery participant, minister, addictions counselor, probation officer and finally, clay artist and photographic artist.
